Wine Estate

The Villa is a neighbour to and has direct access to , which is situated along the Constantia wine route. An additional eight wine farms are within walking distance, all of which, are big in quality, rich in history, boast a unique terroir and an astounding winemaking history dating back to 1685.

The eight other farms are: Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Constantia Uitsig, Steenberg, Constantia Glen, Eagles' Nest, Beau Constantia and Silvermist.

The villa is nearby the CONSTANTIA VILLAGE which offers the convenience of a shopping mall which has an extensive choice of speciality stores, fashion outlets, restaurants, coffee shops and anchor stores which are all conveniently situated on one level - making shopping at The Constantia Village a breeze.

Golf 5 minutes

There are a number of challenging courses in Cape Town some of which are within near reach to the Villa. Steenberg, Westlake, Clovelly, Royal Cape and Mowbray are just a few courses that are within 15 minutes from the Villa.

Beaches 5-15 minutes

The Villa is situated half way between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. It is approximately a short scenic drive to the Atlantic Seaboard beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay or the False Bay beaches of Muizenberg, St James and Fish Hoek.

Boulders beach in Simonstown is home to the famous Jackass Penguins and is situated near the Cape Of Good Hope where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

A scenic day tour of the Peninsula would incorporate all the above places in addition to the Chapmans Peak Drive with its spectacular views.

Cape Town City 15 minutes

Cape Town city bowl / Table Mountain are in close proximity to the Villa.
The city centre offers a large range of various night life activities including some of the following: some of the top restaurants in South Africa, night clubs, theatres, and other entertaining activities.

V&A Waterfront is within easy reach and City tours can be arranged to all the famous landmarks. Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium in the Waterfront, shop until you drop, or take a trip to Robben Island to visit the prison where Nelson Mandela spent 27 years of his life.

Kirstenbosch 10 minutes

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is the only indigenous plant garden in the world. The Gardens span 528 hectares over the Southern Buttresses of Table Mountain. 60 hectares are cultivated to display the incredible diversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom.

Game Parks

See the big five of Africa. You can embark on a day tour to one of the neighbouring Game Parks in the area – under 2 hours drive away from Cape Town. You can sip champagne and watch the magnificent African sunset while spotting lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos in the safety of your game drive vehicle.
